It’s time for One-Book-One-Wolcott, a program in which we, as a community, all read the same book and then come together in the fall to discuss it and participate in a half-day program centered on the major themes and ideas in the book. This year’s One-Book-One-Wolcott selection is Wiliam Kamkwamba’s The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, an autobiography centering on William Kamkwamba’s experiences growing up in Malawi, and his journey to construct a windmill to bring electricity and running water to his village.
